Vinny trained at Arts Educational Schools London, graduating with a BA (Hons).
His credits whilst training include: Bobby Strong in Urinetown; General Patterson in Big Fish and Scaphio in Utopia, Limited. He was also in The Flood (National Youth Theatre).
Since graduating in 2016, Vinny’s career has taken him across the globe, culminating in him leading and featuring in some of musical theatre's most well-known shows:
Raoul in Phantom of the Opera (Broadway Italia); Hugo in Aspects of Love (Lyric Theatre); Yash/Davenport in The Government Inspector (Turbine Theatre); Young Buddy in Follies (Tangier); The Baker/Arthur in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella (Gillian Lynne Theatre); Policeman in the Pit/Cover Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera (UK & Ireland Tour); Feuilly/Cover Enjolras in Les Misérables: The Staged Concert (Gielgud Theatre); Cover Chris/John in Miss Saigon (UK & Ireland Tour); Cover Grantaire/Factory Foreman in Les Misérables (Queen’s Theatre).
Alongside these theatre credits, his career has taken him into the recording side of theatre most recently Abbey Road Studios, as well as live Cast Recording’s which include: Rebel: The James Dean Musical (Original Concept Recording), ALW’s Cinderella (Original Cast Album), Les Misérables, The Staged Concert (The 2020 Cast Recording).
His other credits include: Alexander Fleming in Lifeline: The Musical; Martin Guerre in Martin Guerre Workshop; Vlad in Drag Addict Workshop; Jason in Jason and the Argonauts Workshop; Friday Night Is Music Night concert for BBC Radio 2, and performing at the Olivier Awards.
Vinny is very excited to announce that he will be back in London’s West End appearing at Drury Lane Theatre in: Mozart: Her Story - The New Musical starring as the principal role of Johann Baptist zu Sonnenburg.
Following this he is equally delighted to announce a second concert of the year, this time celebrating the festive season in style at Crazy Coqs in A Very Merry Vinny Coyle & Friends.
